Recklace Recap: 9/10/15 Cubs Win Rainout

by Boutros Boutros Ghali

The Handsome Youngsters went to the City of Brotherly Love for a four game tilt versus the Philistines on Thursday night. Unfortunately for Cubs fans, the game got rained out. There was nothing to watch except for maybe the NFL if you are into that kind of thing.

While the Cubs were sitting in the visitor's clubhouse, the Pirates and Cardinals were playing games and both of them lost. This means the Cubs gained a half a game without throwing a pitch. Right now, the Cubs are 2.5 games behind the Pirates and the Cardinals have a 7 game lead.

What does this mean for the Cubs and their fans? Not much. It's really just a one day anomaly. The rained out game was rescheduled as a double header starting today at 4pm CST with the second game starting directly after.

So, after Arrieta pitches today, the baseball universe will be righted and the half game up or down will go up or down depending on whether they win or not.

That's your reckless recap of a game that did not happen yet.
